There was glorious weather and great play once again at the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Golf Day this year, held on the Rannaleroch Course at Strathmore Golf Centre.
Carbon has now sponsored this event for five years and it has fast-become one of Perthshire’s most popular days in the golfing calendar.
Players met over a delicious lunch then teed off amid beautiful parkland, enjoying excellent conditions. Everything was up for grabs!
After some great play, the Winning Team was GS Group – comprising Jim Lafferty, Wattie Garland, Alan Ruthven and David Cruickshank – and Ross Graham, of Graham Environmental Services Ltd, scooped the Individual Winner prize. Our congratulations to all deserving prizewinners. It was certainly a day to celebrate.
Commenting after the competition, Mark Christie, Carbon’s Corporate Director, said:
“The Rannaleroch Course was in excellent condition. The event organisation was first-class and the staff at Strathmore couldn’t have been more hospitable and welcoming. The event was again very well supported by the local business community, the rain stayed away, and everyone had a fantastic day.”
Next year’s date has already been set for Tuesday 29th August 2017. It will be held at the world-class Gleneagles and is likely to be extremely popular. So do please get in touch with the Chamber of Commerce at events@perthshirechamber.co.uk if you would like to make an early provisional booking.
