Carbon adds Scottish Hockey to our sports sponsorship portfolio

CARBON Financial is pleased to announce we are backing the Scotland Aspiring Girls hockey squad.

It’s a huge year for the national squad as they build towards the U18 EuroHockey Championships in Krefeld, Germany.

The tournament on July 8-16 will see the talented Scots compete alongside Austria, Belgium, England, Spain, France, Germany, Ireland and The Netherlands at the top table of European hockey.

Scottish Hockey’s Director of Hockey Operations Jennifer Griffin is delighted with their new sponsorships for the 2023 season.

She said: “We’re delighted to have the support of Carbon Financial for our Scotland Aspiring Girls’ athletes.

“It’s a massive year for the squad and to know that there’s great support from their sponsors is such a boost for the players building towards a big summer.

“I’d like to thank Carbon Financial for their support of the team and we’re all looking forward to cheering the team on at the U18 EuroHockey Championships in Germany this summer.”

The support for Scottish Hockey is the latest in a line of productive sporting sponsorships.

For several years, Carbon has backed Scots golfer Richie Ramsay on the DP World Tour and Paul Lawrie’s Tartan Pro Tour, enjoyed corporate partner status with The Blairgowrie Golf Club and supported the Bill McLaren Foundation and Strathallan School’s rugby development programme, which has produced players like Jamie Ritchie, Zander and Matt Fagerson for the Scotland international XV.
