Carbon does it again… Carbon wins Gold Standard Award for Independent Financial Advice for the sixth consecutive year

Carbon has once again won the Gold Standard Award for Independent Financial Advice. The 2018 win means that Carbon has now achieved the Award six years in a row.

Learning of the win, Managing Director Gordon Wilson said:

Investment Director Barry O’Neill and London Office Director Darren Lees attended the celebratory Awards ceremony on Wednesday night in the House of Commons, London, where Carbon was presented with the Award by Julian Marr of Incisive Media.

The Gold Standard Awards are judged by an independent panel of experts, which was this year chaired by Rosy Anand, Head of Marketing, Workplace Savings and Defined Benefits Solutions, Aviva.

Entrants of the Awards are asked to complete a lengthy questionnaire to demonstrate strength in five ‘pillars’ of their business: Financial Strength, Capability, Service, Fair Value and Trust. They must show in detail how they have gone above and beyond the standard requirements of the industry, and how they have improved on their offering of the previous year; they must also show a commitment to furthering levels of trust throughout the wider financial industry.

Only eight firms in the UK were awarded the Gold Standard Award for Independent Financial Advice this year.
