Carbon Social Cycle Club - Easy Riders Routes in May

The routes, however, are no walks in the park, at 40 and 55 miles respectively, and with some tough climbing thrown in. The routes will suit those who have cycled a bit, who enjoy a challenge, but don’t want to race around the countryside!They are lovely routes and well worth taking our time to enjoy.

For the East Lothian ride, the plan is to meet in East Lothian, probably at Aberlady (we will confirm), at about 10am and cycle a circular route, initially down the coast, looping back in via East Linton and back up to Aberlady. The route is about 40 miles long and there are lots of options for coffee and cake.

For the Arran trip, the plan would be to meet at the Ardrossan ferry terminal, probably about 9am ahead of getting the 9.45 ferry. The Arran loop is about 55 miles and has a couple of tough climbs. We will definitely stop a couple of times to keep us fuelled up.
