We kicked it off in March and continue to shine a light on the women of Carbon, asking them to share more about themselves and what makes them tick. This is our quick-fire Q&A with Aleksandra Warda, Carbon's Client Services Specialist.
How long have you worked at Carbon?
A year and a half.
What does your ideal weekend look like?
Spending time with special friends whom I get to see only a couple of times a year.
What did you dream about being when you grew up?
To travel around the world, see different places, experience diverse cultures and meet interesting people.
Where are you most at home?
My garden! I have become an avid gardener and trying to grow my own vegetables and fruit which is extremely satisfying and of course, sustainable.
One place on your bucket list?
My list is long, but Rome is on top of that list.
Favourite place you have visited
Bath in England. It's a beautiful place with a rich and fascinating history.
Favourite book, artist, musician or band?
I don’t really have a favourite book but I have a few favourite bands/artists (depends on my mood): Nora Jones, 3doors down, Jack Jonson, Snow Patrol...
Do you have any children/pets?
I have two cats: Stella and Archie. They are brother and sister rescues who don’t like each other very much! Stella is very chatty, and most active between 4-5AM… And Archie likes to wonder around and at times it feels like we share him with our neighbours!
Tell us something people wouldn’t know about you?
I'm from Poland and I don’t like butter.
You have a table of 4 for dinner, who do you invite and why?
My childhood friends because we see each other only twice a year (if lucky).
