The final Carbon newsletter of 2015 is now available. In this edition, Carbon’s Investment Director, Barry O’Neill, explores the topic of ‘volatility’ and highlights the need to accept the ups and downs of markets when investing. Barry also explains why making changes to your portfolio is fraught with danger, as buying or selling on the wrong day could cost you a fortune. He then rounds-up with some good advice to help you navigate your investment journey in order to reach your destination incurring minimum stress.
We also celebrate our awards successes. The biggest achievement of the year was being named Chartered Financial Planners of the Year 2015. It was the third consecutive year we have been a finalist, so it was great to also be the winner.
Earlier in the Year, Carbon was named ‘Adviser Firm of the Year (UK) 2015’ at the Professional Adviser Awards in London, and for the third year in a row we have been awarded the ‘Gold Standard for Independent Financial Advice’. You can read full details about the awards in the newsletter.
We have had an exceptionally busy year on all fronts with some excellent exam passes by our Graduate Trainees and Paraplanners, and some additions to the team. You can read all about this in the Office News on p2.
