European Tour ambassador Richie Ramsay was our guest at a golf day held at Blairgowrie Golf Club, the Perthshire venue which hosted the 2014 Junior Ryder Cup.
A long-standing ambassador for Carbon Financial, the Scots professional has been enjoying a memorable season.
He returned to the winners’ circle with an impressive victory at the Cazoo Classic to secure the trophy he had promised daughter Olivia.
With only a handful of events remaining in the regular season, Richie is on target to join the top 50 players competing in the DP World Tour Championship finale next month in Dubai.
Directors Gordon Wilson and Mark Christie were delighted Richie could join guests on the Rosemount course after providing a bunker lesson on the practice ground.
Later, in the clubhouse, he took part in a wide-ranging and entertaining interview conducted by BBC Scotland sports presenter Brian McLauchlin.
Richie was impressed with the Perthshire venue, where Carbon enjoys corporate partner status.
