Aeneas O'Hara – Finding the Best of Scotland – Part 2

Carbon is joined again by our good friend and client, Aeneas O'Hara. In this blog, he recommends some beautiful Scottish locations to visit outdoors. Aeneas is founder of awayfromtheordinary.com a bespoke luxury travel company focussed on delivering the best Scottish travel experiences.

Part Two - The Great Outdoors

Aeneas takes us on a journey to some of his favourite places to visit outdoors in Scotland. He makes a living from finding the very best that Scotland has to offer, so these locations will not disappoint.

Three places in Scotland that Aeneas O’Hara loves to visit.

Cairngorm National Park

Scotland’s stunning scenery gets even more beautiful in the winter and there are a whole host of ways to experience it. One great area to experience Scotland in the winter is the Cairngorms National Park, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, it has everything from castles and distilleries to amazing wildlife.

Scottish Beaches

Some of the beaches in Scotland are magnificent, the rest are just plain beautiful. It’s not unusual to find beaches in Scotland next to world-famous golf courses, but Dornoch has everything and a little bit more.

Scottish Islands - St Kilda

There is no place like St Kilda and a visit here is an unforgettable experience. It’s the United Kingdom’s only dual UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of only 39 in the world. Scotland has some amazing Islands to visit, some of them are uninhabited which brings even more wonder – find out more here: https://awayfromtheordinary.com/2019/06/28/4-uninhabited-islands-you-can-visit-now/
