Carbon was once again delighted to support The Bill McLaren Voice of Rugby Dinner at Prestonfield House on 10 February 2023.
A crowd of over 300 attended the Foundation’s 12th Annual Dinner to celebrate what would have been Bill McLaren’s 100th year.
Linda Lawson in her welcome speech spoke about the charity’s main area of support, which is helping young people develop life skills through playing sport but particularly rugby. To-date the Foundation have given just over £1.3m to good causes mainly in Scotland.
Guests were entertained by MC, Rory Lawson’s chat with sports broadcaster, Andrew Cotter and were then enthralled with the stories from Welsh rugby legend, Jonathan Davies.
Cole Page and Victor Michaels captivated the audience and encouraged many in a sing-along!
Auctioneer for the evening was Alex Fleming who assisted along with the Silent Auction lots in raising £60,000 at the event.
Co-sponsors Carbon and Craneware hosted a drinks reception prior to the main Dinner and a selection of photographs from the evening can be found below.
